Apply

To apply, you will need to fill in an application form. The Trust will usually post them out to you on request.

Do I need to submit any supporting documents?

Yes. You will need to submit the following documents with the completed application form:

• Child Protection Policy/Vulnerable Adult Policy, together with CRB disclosure numbers
• Your group’s rules or constitution
• A full list of all the members of the management or steering group
• Copies of bank statements from the last 3 months
• Annual accounts or a statement of income and expenditure
• Information about the trainer or consultant you want to employ
• A full description of any equipment, goods or services you wish to buy, including information about costs from at least two suppliers

When to Apply

The decision-making panel normally meet four times a year. Completed applications must be received at least two weeks before a meeting.

Panel date: the first panel meeting for Tower Hamlets and the City of London will take place on 29 Sept 2008. Deadline for applications is 15 Sept 2008.

Applicants will be notified of the decision as soon as possible after the meeting. Successful applications must complete their project or activity within 12 months of receiving the grant or within the financial year in which the grant was awarded.

Grassroots Grants will be open until March 2011.
