British 10k runners triumph

July 2009

15 runners took part in the ASICS British 10K London Run on Sunday 12th July for St Katharine & Shadwell Trust. The race began in Hyde Park Corner, through Pall Mall, St Paul’s, St Katharine’s Dock, Embankment and ending in Whitehall.

Staff from St Katharine & Shadwell Trust went along to cheer on runners who were difficult to spot in a crowd of 26,000. All of our runners completed the route and received a medal at the finishing line.

We would like to thank runners and sponsors for their support. We expect the total raised will be in excess of £5,000! The money they have raised will go towards our Grassroots Grants Endowment Match Challenge and will be doubled by the Office of the Third Sector.
