Grassroots Grants has entered its final year. Since its launch in 2008, the three-year Government funded programme has provided much needed support to small voluntary and community organisations.

Over the last two years, the Trust has distributed over £250,000 in grants to more than 70 groups across Tower Hamlets alone, in many cases providing essential funding groups need to survive. Examples of this can be found here.

The programme ends in March 2011, so there is still plenty of time for groups to apply for a grant. Go to our Grassroots Grants page for information on eligibility and how to apply.

This also means time is running out for donors to double the impact of their donations. Office of the Third Sector will match every pound for a pound for donations made to the Grassroots Grants Endowment Fund, which will provide ongoing grants to small voluntary and community groups in the East End and City of London.
