Active Grants are:

• small grants (up to £3,000) to stimulate people to get involved in their communities;
• available for projects involving young people or older people;
• designed to encourage and support beneficiaries to take the lead in developing the project.

Do I need to submit any supporting documents?

Yes. Once you have completed the first part of your online application, you will be sent an email asking you to submit the following documents, where relevant:

• your group’s rules or constitution
• a full list of all the members of the management committee or steering group, including addresses with cheque signatories identified
• Copies of bank statements from the last 3 months (an opening statement is acceptable)
• annual accounts or a statement of income and expenditure
• Child Protection Policy/Vulnerable Adult Policy
• CRB disclosure numbers (where appropriate)
